Error Code Cleaner / DPF Reset Tool – Volvo / Mack (USA 2014→)

Standalone plug & play diagnostic tool designed for trucks equipped with an Aftertreatment System. Essential for every driver of Volvo® or Mack® vehicles manufactured from 2014 until now. No laptop, software or Wi-Fi connection required.

What can this tool do?

• Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
• Disable Derate / Limp Mode
• Reset Soot Level
• Perform Parked DPF Regeneration

Easy to use

For DTC clearing, derate disable or soot level reset:

1. Switch ignition to the ON position.
2. Connect the tool to the truck’s diagnostic port (HD OBD).
3. The LED turns green and starts blinking – the tool is clearing all DTCs from all ECUs.
4. When DTCs are cleared, the LED stays solid green.
5. Next, the LED turns blue – this is Derate Disable waiting time.
6. Then the LED turns red – this is the Soot Level Reset procedure.
7. When all routines are complete, the LED lights green again.

To perform Parked DPF Regeneration:

1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Start the engine and let it idle until coolant temperature reaches at least 180°F.
3. Connect the tool to the diagnostic connector – regeneration will start automatically within a few seconds.
4. Regeneration takes 20–60 minutes depending on DPF load.
5. You may stop regeneration at any moment by unplugging the tool.
