Easy-to-use standalone tool designed to reset the DPF Soot Level in CAT C3.3 and C3.8 engines equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter. The tool works automatically – just connect it to the diagnostic connector.
This tool is needed:
- During scheduled maintenance every 3,000 hours
- In case of heavy soot accumulation in the DPF
How to use this tool?
- Switch machine ignition ON.
- Connect the tool to the CAT 14 PIN diagnostic connector.
- Wait around 10 seconds.
- Done – soot level has been reset to zero.

Important: This tool does NOT work with CAT C3.4 engines!
