S-Link IP — read and clear Scania faults DoIP + CAN
S-Link IP — Scania diagnostics and fault clearing straight from your browser
To meet the technical requirements of the latest vehicles, we are adding S-Link IP to our range — an interface from the S-Link™ family supporting the DoIP and CAN diagnostic protocols. It is also our first third-generation fault eraser, and its functionality goes far beyond clearing fault codes.
DoIP — required in the latest Scania trucks
All Scania vehicles produced from 2024 onward require a communication interface supporting the DoIP protocol for full and proper diagnostics. S-Link IP is exactly that answer — it provides communication with the newest generations, including the Scania Super models.
Newest and older Scania trucks — one device
S-Link IP is not limited to the latest model years. It supports all Scania vehicles equipped with an OBD socket, meaning those produced from 2004 onward — from the first R series all the way to the newest Scania Super. A single device therefore covers both older and current fleets.
Diagnostics without the driver menu
With the introduction of the new generations, the manufacturer discontinued the ability to read faults directly from the driver menu. Our answer is easy reading of diagnostic codes from the newest vehicles using S-Link IP and its easy-to-use graphical interface, which runs in any modern web browser.
To use S-Link IP for reading codes, you don't need any external software. Simply connect to the WiFi network broadcast by the device, enter its address in your browser, and within seconds you gain full access to the menu — you control S-Link IP completely.
Two operating modes and easy updates
The interface can work in standalone mode or be controlled from a web browser. The device firmware is easy to update, so S-Link IP keeps pace with successive changes in the vehicles.
The end of the „undiagnosable" truck problem
Over the past years, one objection kept coming back to us: "I don't use fault erasers, because afterwards my truck becomes undiagnosable." Where did this come from? If you use an eraser that clears faults from all systems, you often also wipe the DTC code history along the way — and it is precisely that history which makes it easier to diagnose and repair standard faults.
Our answer is dedicated clearing programs that target only the engine ECU and the emissions aftertreatment system (EEC). This lets you remove power limitations and faults from the engine ECU and the EEC system alone, without touching codes from the other systems — so their history is fully preserved. And if you do need to clear faults from all systems, the appropriate program is also available.
